| The Minotaur in Ancient Greek mythology was the result of a liaison between Queen Parsiphae and a bull. Her husband hid him - technically his stepson - in the Labyrinth and obliged the Athenians to send seven young men and seven maidens for the Minotaur to devour each year. |
