| The Shaftesbury Monster in Art Below |
| In 2005 I made three monsters some ten feet high at the entrance to Langford's Car Spares yard near Shaftesbury, Dorset, using parts from the yard. I sought inspiration from mediaeval grotesque carvings from the long demolished Shaftesbury Abbey which are preserved in the museum there. This image was shown on the London Underground system by Art Below in September 2007. Below a view of the three monsters. |
